Welcome Back Monday

Welcome Back to School from a State A Tournament Weekend.

Congrats to the Cubs for winning 7th place.  You had a wonderful season and should be proud.

Health classes will be studying Chapter 22 this week.

No School on Wednesday, March 21st due to the Regional Music Contest held at CHS that day.

Hope everyone got to enjoy some basketball action over the weekend, whether it was SD HS boys basketball, or the NCAA tournament.  It's March Madness.

Tuesday, March 13th

PE classes in the gym today.  Students will be playing their "next to last" day of Pickle Ball.  We are continuing the round robin style of play for all classes.

Personal Fitness class has a workout day today.  We will be out in the weight room/wrestling area for our workouts.

Early Dismissal on Thursday the 15th... 2 pm.

No School on Friday the 16th.

Pep Rally at the Chamberlain National Guard Armory tonight at 7 pm for the Boys Basketball Team as they head to the State Tournament.

Friday, March 9th

Announcements:

1. Today is the end of the third quarter.  Monday will be the start of the 4th quarter.
2. Next Thursday, March 15th, we will have a 2 pm dismissal for the State A Basketball Tournament in Sioux Falls.
3. Chamberlain will face the Aberdeen Roncolli Cavaliers at 7pm in first round action.
4. No School on Friday, March 16th, due to the State A Basketball Tournament in Sioux Falls.

Be sure to watch "Selection Sunday" on CBS or ESPN this coming Sunday evening to see where the SDSU Jackrabbits will play in their first ever NCAA Tournament.

Weekend! - not much planned for this weekend.  I'm sure we'll be busy doing something or another, but for the most part... not much planned.

Recovery Wednesday!

Wow!  What an amazing day of basketball yesterday was!

First, the SDSU Women's Basketball team wins it's fourth straight Summit League Championship in Overtime yesterday afternoon.

Second, a great win by the Chamberlian Cubs to secure a place in the State A tournament in Sioux Falls next week.  Awesome job by all the players and the coaches.

Finally, the SDSU Men's Basketball team wins it's first ever Summit League Championship, and secured a place in the NCAA tournament.  The Big Dance!  When you go to fill out your bracket this year, South Dakota State is going to be on it!  And yes, it was in overtime, too.

I was joking with some coworkers that I probably lost two years off my life yesterday.
